There’s a common mathematical ratio found in nature that can be used to create pleasing, natural looking compositions in your design work.
We call it the “Golden Ratio” – also known as the Divine Proportion, the Golden Mean, the Golden Section, or the Greek letter Phi.
Much like the rule of thirds, this mathematical concept can be applied to your graphic designs to make them more visually appealing to the viewer.
The Golden Mean is a little more complicated, so we recommend you read these art tips from Company Folders to learn how to use it as general guideline to add tweaks and improvements to your design.
